The cottage itself is situated in the farm yard on a working dairy farm and is a newly converted. The property is light and airy with amazing views over the lune valley towards Barbon, Middleton and Casterton. Only 3 miles to Kirkby Lonsdale which has many lovely pubs, cafes, restaurants and boutique shops.

Hawkrigg is in the small hamlet of Old Town which lies within the the Yorkshire Dales National Park boundary and also very close to the Lake District National Park, being only 16 miles to Lake Windermere.

The cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 people, there is a downstairs double bedroom and upstairs twin room. There is also an adjoining small cot room / playroom with a few toys and games, ideal for smaller children due to the limited headroom!

The cottage features open plan living, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully fitted and includes a dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge has a smart tv and sky sports and movies package are included. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.

All bed linen and towels and high speed broadband are included in the rental.

Hawkrigg Cottage is available for long weekend rental during the winter months but only weekly rent during the summer months. Prices range from £275 for a long weekend to £650 per week in peak season.
